PM's wife OFFICIAL visit

Malaysia must be one of the very few, if not the only country in the world where the wife of the Prime Minister can visit another country on an 'Official' capacity even though she is not in any 'official' office apart from being the wife of the Prime Minister.

The last time time I am aware of, the wife is not a minister, or an ambassador, elected officer, office bearer of any department, head of any government department. Last i know, she is the wife of the PM.

So, how can she represents Malaysia for official visit to another country???

The news report seems to equate her with the Yang Di Pertuan Agong!!

Someone wants to explain this??

New phase in life...

After a few days of intense work, and months of preparatory banging, hacking, cementing, polishing, varnishing, hammering, tiling, cementing, planting, watering, we have moved to our new place.

The old premise was a 2 storey link house, where we stayed for some 18 years, where my 2 girls were born, where countless memories will now be filed and stored away as we begin a new chapter.

The new place is a semi-detached house, 2 storey with a compound of about 2000 square feet or some. Where as the old place had only 2 entrances/exits, the new place have 5 possible entrances/exits.

The family will now have to adjust to more space.., more cleaning chores..., and having to walk greater distances to do just about anything!

The puppy we took in last year, who have grown to be quite a handsome dog, is probably the one that is enjoying the space the most. he has been tearing up and down the length of the grass compound, barking his head off at cats and birds, getting himself muddy.., wet.., and generally dirty!

I suspect my 2 girls love the new place too....
