Burnt alive....

Last Friday while I driving on the NS Highway, I saw a car burning in the middle lane....

Started to notice a plume of black smoke from a distance, and upon inching nearer, could see that it was a car on fire.

It would seem, a huge truck, travelling at quite high speed rammed into this car, which has 5 people on board. The truck was thrown to the side of the road's railing, and the truck driver immediately fled the scene of the accident.

4 of the occupants managed to get out, but the most seriously injured was not able to get out, and was burnt alive....

what a tragedy... The incredibly inhuman act by the truck driver is absolutely inexcusable.

Nickel Chrome plating

Chrome plating of aluminium die cast parts must be one of the most difficult surface treatment of all times!

We have been casting, machining aluminium parts for some time now. And, since the beginning of last year, been sourcing nickel chrome plating from a thus far, reliable source.

However, lately, there has been quite many quality issues. The latest being blistering when plated parts are baked to 170 degrees C. Due to what was eventually confirmed as 'chemical contaminations', the adhesion between the first nickel layer and the alunium substrate was just not happening. The chrome layer can be 'lifted' off the substrate.

It has been a roller coaster week, and, due to production delivery delays, the ride will be worse in the weeks ahead!!

not easy....
