Cholesterol..........

The physician I have been visiting for the last 3 years or so have been trying to manage and control my cholesterol level. I, think, he has finally concluded that I am genetically predisposed to high cholesterol......

I have been on 'Vytorin', which acts in two prongs, one to stop the liver from producing excessive cholesterol and the other to stop the absorption of cholesterol from food intakes. For a while, well, at least in March ( 3 months ago) my cholesterol total was just above 3; a rather desirable level.

The blood test this morning put me in the 'high risk' group. total was almost 7. The physician nearly fell off his chair when he saw the result....

What to do...??

Company Vehicles

Tried to rationalise between giving company vehicles or car allowances to managers...

Company vehicles are nowadays classified as rather poor use of assets/resources. However, a comparison between what it will cost the company and what it will cost to the employee seems to indicate it will be better to give company vehicles.

If only employees will look after the car assigned to them as if it was their own...

sigh......

15 hours day.....

For the past few days, the hours spent at the office has been extremely long. I normally arrived in round about 7am. Past few days, have had to stayed on for calls with customers in the USA. Have been getting home about 10pm...

Not sure how to continue...

Major problem is can foresee this will continue for another 1.5 months, maybe even longer.

Major plans scrapped included 3D/2N fishing trip to Pulau Jarak this weekend...

It turned up after all!!!

Miracles do happen...

The missing luggage turned up after 7 days... And, lo and behold, everything inside was still inside. All I can conclude is that somehow, the bag was not transferered to the MH95 flight at LA since the new tag showed it was loaded on at LA.

I was kind of hoping to get a new wardrobe!!

Nevertheless, am quite pleased that I have got back all my documents.

Will still have to pursue the airlines and insurance company for delay luggage now...

Checked in 2, checked out 1

At Toronto, I checked in 2 bags. No problem.

At LA airport, when I got my boarding pass, confirmed that both bags were received and will be loaded. We flew Business Class, and was even upgraded to First Class for the whole trip from LAX to KLIA....!!

At KLIA, only one bag checked out... It is now almost 48 hours since we arrived back to KLIA, and so far, absolutely no news....

To make matter worse, inside the 'no show' bag, I have some rather important documents along with some gifts for the family.... Bought two Harley Davidson jeans, a book, Reebok shoes, toys, etc... all gone???

NOT GOOD....

Radisson to Four Points overnight..

I stayed at the Radisson Hotel along Argentia Road Mississauga, Toronto on Wednesday night and woke up at the Four Points by Sheraton Mississauga Meadowvale in the morning!!While I was sleeping, the property converted to the Four Points. A bit strange when the name of the hotel you checked in is not be the same as the one you eventually check out....

It would seems the hotel has been undergoing a renovation program for some time now, and we are one of the first few guests. The conversion started on the top floor, (8th floor) and that is where we are now. The floors are progressively offered to guests, and we probably experienced all the new fittings etc.

I have some 8 hours lay over at LA Tom Bradley Airport later today... will not be fun at all.....
