Anyone knows how they actually look like??

It was billed as the trial of the year when it first went to court; but after 113 days of hearing/trial, with the prosecution having produces 75 witnesses, and defense yet to call even one witness, one rather important question was innocently passed by a friend recently.

After so many days of trials, after so many evening TV pictures, along with countless pictures in newspaper, does any public person (you and me lah) knows how the two co accused of Abdul Razak Baginda look like? Apart from their names and ranks, what else do we know about them?

Questions begging for answers:
- how on earth do they get bundled up so nicely for every trail date?
- are they bundling themselves before being hand cuffed?
- who is giving them all those 'bundling' clothes?
- are they allowed to be bundled like that?

The comment was that even if they are found guilty later, and sentenced to death, how on earth would the public (you and me again lah) know the persons who will be put to death are the two co accused since no one knows how they look like?

questions..... questions....

Blackberry 8310

After the first unit was unceremoniously 'returned' as a rejected unit, the 2nd unit, a brand new straight out of the box rather than replacement of battery, seems to be working fine thus far. The shop technician was supposed to help set up all the email accounts, but the fellow was not at the shop when the phone was picked up.

Thus far, intuitively, i have setup emails for work, gmail, streamyx, yahoo and blackberry.

This phone comes with real time GPS, internet browser, camera, and some other nifty applications. Like all handsets, the battery does not last as long as one would hope.

My boos took a liking to the phone and declared he wants to get one as well. If he does get one, at least it will probably mean emails will get to him!!

Old Phone/new phone

The Nokia 3230 has been with me since June 2005, and by all accounts is quite overdue to be replaced. The 3230 has a rather peculiar habit of just hanging up completely when the buttons are pressed to fast while it is processing some functions.

Over the weekend, decided to give it the deserved rest and bought a Nokia 6120, a somewhat similar looking model but with new features, 3G and all that. Had the phone for one whole day and on way home from office decided to switch to a Blackberry.

So, off to the phone shop again and since the 6120 is practically new, the shop owner decided he will take in the unit at the same price it was sold and trade in for a Blackberry. Maxis has the 8310 on offer compete with unlimited data package.

Took the phone home and while charging the pre requisited compulsory 8 hours first charge, the brand new Blackberry 8310 hanged completely. It has this persistently flashing red LED and no matter what is done, the phone just will not start up or do anything else.

So, off to the phone shop again. The phone is now left with them and suppose to get a totally new unit tomorrow....

Is this a sign that i should keep my old 3230? Am i doomed to use old phones?

What every office should have

There are items and areas that every office should have. And the most popular, undoubtedly, is the pantry where drinks, coffees, snacks are kept. This is also the location for rumours and gossips to be passed on or received.

What would be nice is to have a liquid dispenser such as this:

And of course, if anyone wants to make a complaint, they should head towards to the appropriate department, take your queue number...
